[Backstory, The Shock Battalion was an elite security and police force founded during the Clone Wars by the Galactic Republic, some clones were bred separately from the other Clones in secrecy on Coruscant among them were Shock Troopers who originally formed the Coruscant Guard where they protected the senate dome and other government facilities even serving as bodyguards for diplomats and senate representatives. they were trained in specialised Urban deployment providing them with pristine close-quarter combat skills and they were considered as 'Urban Peacekeepers' amongst the citizens of Coruscant and politicians, their formal equipment was the DC-15A rifle and the DC-15S carbine however the equipment was later heavily manipulated to entertain different divisions of the Battalion which allowed divisions such as riot class shock troopers.]  Why do you want to be a commander: I have experience as a commanding officer in multiple different classes of regiments and I enjoy leading a regiment making it a high-quality active regiment, I also believe that Shock is an extremely important regiment and without a strong shock there wouldn't be much order. I much prefer the security side of things whether it be in the Galactic Republic or the Galactic Empire because I know how everything is meant to be operating and I have a strict standard when it comes to the presentation of the regiment and the work ethic due to being guided by those who had similar knowledge who taught me what they knew and everything I have learnt on my own through observation and personal experience I believe I am a great fit for the commanding position. if you are more interested to know about my abilities and how I will run the regiment it goes as follows below  When I am leading a regiment I believe the first step is to have a robust informative handbook, so all shock troopers understand what is expected of them not only during normal duties but when they are unassigned and during missions which not only allows the regiment to remain serious but in a way present the regiment with shock and awe to other unassigned and assigned soldiers making them stop and think to themselves "That is a regiment I would be honoured to join"; that being said a handbook alone can't guide the people in the regiment and I believe with a strict rich in content style of leadership works best within security regiments however when it comes to being strict my main focus is on the respect, etiquette and work ethic of each and every shock trooper ensuring that all of the above are pristine and without question. During daily routines I always make sure everyone is doing something whether it be patrolling around the ship/base, maintaining positions at security posts, providing additional security to zones of high importance even providing personal security for high ranking officials as long as at all times they are making themselves useful. In addition to all of this my intention for shock and what I have done in previous positions is to host training each week starting with the basics and gradually moving up the chain of skills ranging from their climbing abilities, all the basics with faces, formations and target practice, shoothouse training with time trials and hostage extraction along with the heavy enlightenment of the great importance of a hostage situation and the strict protocols we must follow to ensure the safety of the asset (which I will elaborate on later if you are interested), all the way to how an officer should be displaying themselves teaching them the beauty and value of officer etiquette for when the day comes that they themselves become officers and potentially lead their own soldiers.
